We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Coordinator Student Conduct & Care in our Office of Student Conduct & Care department. This position will assist the Director and the Assistant Director in investigating and coordinating student conduct cases. The annual pay for this position is $44,500.00.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of the CARE caseload, including supporting students regarding behavioral issues and other obstacles impacting student ability to meet goals.
- Conduct background and conduct checks for both internal departments and external parties.
- Assists Assistant Director in the facilitation of Student Absence policies, Student Relief Fund, and the Late Withdrawal Process.
- Serve as a member of the CARE Team in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
- Collaborate with other offices on student programs of broader interests, community building, and leadership development.
- Develop and provide educational outreach and training on reporting pathways, CARE Team, and conduct related information in coordination with the Assistant Director.
- Provide classroom presentations educating faculty, staff, and students about office services and resources.
- Represents the office on various positions, search committees, and other Division-wide committees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 years' experience in student conduct, behavioral intervention or student advising, and a background demonstrating success in dealing with students, parents, administrators, and faculty.
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, task management, and effective leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Computer literacy and database experience.
- The ability to manage and complete tasks in a timely manner and the ability to maintain accurate records and files.
- The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree.
- Preference given to degrees and experience in higher education, student affairs, or related field.
- Student Affairs experience is preferred and must include knowledge of student development theory and student applicable laws such as the Clery Act, Title IX, and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
