Clinical Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice
Job Summary
The Department of Criminal Justice and Public Administration invites applications for a full-time 9-month position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice beginning August 2023. Candidates will possess at least one of the following requirements: (1) Ph.D. in criminal justice or related field, (2) master’s degree in criminal justice or related field, (3) Juris Doctorate (JD), OR (4) bachelor’s degree in the relevant field and at least 10 years of practitioner’s experience in upper management at the local, state, or national levels of government, instructor development certification through the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board, or equivalent training certification.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach a wide range of courses in criminal justice. Candidates will also be expected to engage in service as determined by the department and university guidelines. The position is contingent upon a successful background check and available funding.
