THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY FORT WAYNE invites applications for a 9-month visiting assistant professor position beginning August 17, 2020. The position requires a Ph.D. in psychology. Area of specialization is open but preference will be given to specialization in an applied or clinical area. Duties include teaching courses such as, but not limited to, Abnormal Psychology, Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and additional courses in area of specialization (12 credit hours/semester).


The Department of Psychology offers undergraduate B.A. and B.S. degrees in psychology. We have over 300 majors and 13 full-time faculty. The department is very collegial and an excellent place to work. We have a commitment to high standards of performance and instruction. We also value and support research.
