Job Summary
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for a Limited-Term Lecturer for CDFS 25500- Introduction to Couple and Family Relationships, a popular General Education choice by many students. We welcome applicants that can bring their passion for couple and family relationships into the classroom and online environment.
CDFS 25500 Course Description- Provides further understanding of family relations for those unmarried, those contemplating marriage, or for those married, and for prospective marriage counselors. A functional approach to the interpersonal relationships of courtship, marriage, and family.
Position is contingent upon satisfactory background check.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates should minimally hold a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Development and Family Studies, or related field from an accredited university
- Ability to effectively use teaching strategies and technologies for in-person and/or online learning
- Priority will be given to those who have previous university teaching experience
