Job Summary
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for a Limited-Term Lecturer in Nutrition. The courses we seek instructors for are: NUTR 30300 Essentials of Nutrition and NUTR 40300 Advanced Nutrition: Food from Farm to Fork. Nutrition courses are required for our program, and are also a popular General Education choice by many students. We welcome applicants that can bring their passion for nutrition into the classroom.
Position is contingent upon satisfactory background check.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates should hold a Master of Science in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited university, and be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (MS RDN)
- Ability to effectively use teaching strategies and technologies for in-person and/or online learning
- Priority will be given to those who have previous university teaching experience
