Job Summary
Join our dynamic team of faculty and staff at an exciting time of innovation and growth! The Department of Psychology at Purdue University Northwest invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment (open rank), to begin August 2025. The successful applicant will serve as a core faculty member in our well-established and highly popular undergraduate psychology program, as well as contribute to our new psychology graduate programs. PNW launched both a master’s degree program (clinical and non-clinical tracks) and a clinical psychology doctoral degree (Psy.D.) program during the 2024-2025 academic year and is in the process of pursuing APA accreditation. We’re looking for strong teachers and scholars interested in developing a productive research program that incorporates undergraduate and graduate students, as well as collaborating with faculty colleagues throughout the department and university. Area of scholarship is open.
The position is a full-time, 9-month appointment and responsibilities include some or all of the following: teaching undergraduate statistics and research methods courses, teaching graduate quantitative methods courses, developing an active program of research/scholarship, providing research mentoring for undergraduate and graduate students (including providing statistical and methodological consultation for Psy.D. dissertation projects and faculty research and grant projects), and contributing to service activities in the department, college, and university.

- Completion of a Ph.D. program in psychology or a related discipline
- Demonstrated teaching ability
- Demonstrated research collaboration with faculty and students
- Undergraduate and graduate teaching experience
- Evidence of the beginning of an independent program of research/scholarship
- Evidence of or very strong potential for extramural funding
