Overview

Purdue University Northwest is seeking to hire a graduate assistant to assist with their men’s and women’s tennis programs in Hammond, IN.  Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of the men’s and women’s tennis program.

Position provides tuition remission to the university’s graduate program of choice and stipend, housing not included. Preferred start date is August, 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Practice organization and implementation.
• Attending all practices and competitions.
• Identifying and coordinating recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
• Abide by all written policies, procedures and guidelines of Purdue Northwest, the Department of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
• Recruiting prospective student-athletes through phone and email and in-person evaluations.
• Assistant with management of web-based recruiting software.
• Data entry (must be proficient with Microsoft Office).
• Other duties assigned.

Education

• Must also be accepted and enrolled with an accredited graduate program at Purdue Northwest
