Job Summary

Purdue University Northwest, Department of Computer Information Technology and Graphics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence, with employment starting on January 1, 2025 or August 18, 2025.

Department Profile

The Department of Computer Information Technology and Graphics (CITG) comprises 13 full-time faculty. It enrolls 300 students in three undergraduate degree programs: B.S. in Computer Graphics Technology, B.S. in Computer Information Technology, and B.S. in Cybersecurity. The department will be offering a new Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence to be launched in Spring 2025. In addition, the department offers a minor in Applied Data Science and a minor in Cybersecurity.

 

College of Technology (COT), where the CITG is housed, enrolls 70 M.S. Technology graduate students in a Computer Information Technology concentration, and several Doctor of Technology graduate students pursuing applied research in various technology fields, including AI.
