Job Summary

  • Process client registration and cancellations
  • Attend to client needs and changes.
  • Be back up for Congregate Meal orders and reports when Client Services Specialist is on vacation or not in office.
  • Document and maintain Data/Statistics for Grants and state contracts
  • Support the Client Service Manager’s duties, being proficient in the following functions in their absence.
  • Complete any other activity required to expedite the meal delivery.

Education

  • Associate degree; or equivalent from a college or technical school; and one year or more related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to read and comprehend written and oral instruction.
  • Able to communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally in person and on the telephone.
  • Able to effectively interact with people, communicate abstract ideas, and solve problems creatively.
  • Possess good reasoning skills, ability to think clearly under pressure.
  • Math and data entry skills.
  • Able to work independently, collaboratively and with a team.
  • Able to complete and organize required paperwork.
  • Must have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, and view a computer terminal.
  • Works well under the constraints of time and deadlines.
  • Ability to navigate the Internet and database management tools, proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel, and correspond professionally via email.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License free from moving violations.

Physical Demands and Working Condition

  • Light Work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.

  • Physical activity includes stooping, reaching, grasping, fingering, standing, and walking. May be requested to lift, push, and pull if packing or delivering.

  • Must have visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and view computer monitor.

  • Able to perceive sounds at normal speaking level.

  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

  • Reliable, consistent punctuality and physical attendance are required.
