The Department of History, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Indiana) anticipates hiring a Visiting Instructor to teach introductory history courses in United States, European, and World History, and other undergraduate history or liberal studies courses, beginning Fall 2024.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have completed at least an MA in History (or other relevant field)
- A minimum of two years’ experience teaching history at the college level.
Desired Qualifications:
- The ability to teach US, European, and non-Western History is a plus.
Start date is August 12, 2024. Responsibilities include teaching five classes per semester.
