We are currently seeking a full-time, onsite Associate Head or Assistant Coach Women's Soccer for the Athletic department. This position assists in the development of a competitive NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Program. The salary range for this position is $35,000.00-$37,000.00; dependent upon position offered and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coaching & Player Development:
- Assist with planning and executing progressive training sessions aligned with the team’s tactical model.
- Provide individual and positional coaching to enhance technical and tactical growth.
- Contribute to match preparation, in-game decision-making, and post-game analysis.
- Utilize performance tools, video analysis (Hudl, etc.), and GPS monitoring systems.
Recruiting (Division I Focus):
- Recruit high-level student-athletes, consistent with Horizon League and DI standards.
- Scout prospects through showcases, tournaments, ID camps, and video evaluation.
- Maintain recruiting communications, databases, and documentation in full compliance with NCAA rules and calendars.
- Build strong relationships with ECNL, Girls Academy (GA), USYS, high school, and international club coaches.
Program Administration:
- Assist in planning team travel, managing equipment needs, and monitoring budgets.
- Support academic success and welfare of student-athletes through communication with academic services and compliance staff.
- Promote program values, leadership, accountability, and a positive team culture.
Additional Responsibilities for Associate Coach Consideration:
- Lead specific tactical units or game-planning responsibilities.
- Oversee opponent scouting and advanced analysis reports.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in long-term program development.
- Serve as acting head coach when needed.
- Take a lead role in recruiting strategy and roster management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of collegiate coaching experience; 3+ years of collegiate coaching experience required for associate head coach consideration.
- Coaching experience at the collegiate level.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and player development.
- Strong understanding of NCAA Division I rules, compliance, and ethics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience coaching or playing at the NCAA Division I level.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking, Hudl Sportscode, Veo, and performance analytics.
- Proven recruiting networks within ECNL, GA, and international markets.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends at Athletic events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Experience at the Division I level.
- USSF License, USC Diploma, or UEFA License.
- Knowledgeable of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
- Some experience in recruitment.
