Job Summary
Applications are invited for a 9-month non-tenure-track Lecturer position to begin on August 17, 2026. M.S. degree required. Primary teaching responsibilities are human anatomy and physiology lectures and labs in support of students pursuing health science degrees. Additional courses may include microbiology for health professionals and general biology for non-majors. In-person and online instruction, and supervision of graduate teaching assistants are also components of the position. All candidates who are interviewed on campus will be expected to prepare a 45-60 minute instructional presentation. The department
The Department of Biological Sciences is the largest department in the College of Science. We currently have 350 undergraduate majors and 40 graduate students. More than half of our undergraduates pursue graduate or professional degrees after graduation. The department is well equipped for its teaching and research programs, and its 14 faculty represent specialties spanning the breadth of the discipline.
