Assessment and Analysis, Senior Manager

Job Summary

Operating at the intersection of data, systems, and people, the Sr. Manager of HR Data & Analysis is a working manager who leads a team focused on the security, delivery and analysis of the University's employee data.  The three main areas of focus for the team are:  (1) HR Data and role security  (2) Operational and regulatory reporting  (3) Data analysis and workforce insights.  This position will work closely HR, ITaP and business stakeholders to establish relevant processes to ensure safe and appropriate access and use of employee data.  Support data consistency and integrity through the facilitation of education and data issue resolution including identifying necessary data cleansing activities and coordinating with the appropriate data entry personnel.  Leverage skills and knowledge to help establish data governance practices and enhance data-driven business performance and compliance.  This includes making it easier for teams across the University to find, understand, trust, and access the data they need.  The ultimate goal is to make it easier for HR data to be accessed at the right time, by the right individuals for the right reasons.

 

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience working with HRIS and data extraction tools.
  • Ability to supervise, train and develop staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate and train staff on information and data resources
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and manipulate data
  • Knowledge of database construct, management and retrieval methods
  • Ability to create data capture and input specifications
  • Project management

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, QM4, Cognos and Tableau
