Senior Instructional Lab Coordinator

Job Summary

The Senior Instructional Lab Coordinator will be part of The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering's (ECE) world-leading, laboratory-based instructional team as we scale to meet increasing enrollment. As part of the ECE lab manager team, you will develop and administer project- and laboratory-based instruction. The role includes supporting and aiding faculty who are developing and delivering laboratory-based teaching. You will have to maintain personal excellence in educational techniques, technologies, and industrial practice.

What We Are Looking For

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience, including but not limited to experience with EDA software for a variety of design and analysis tasks, embedded system design incorporating digital/analog/mixed signal components, and industry ECE related experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

 

SKILLS:
REQUIRED:

  • Ability to work with UNIX and Windows O/S
  • Ability to teach ECE topics to university-level students
  • Ability to organize and supervise student projects
  • Strong technical and professional communication skills
  • Ability to design and organize effective laboratory experiments
  • Ability to effectively use modern office and web applications
  • Ability to create, use and manage web-based content
  • Ability to operate a range of basic laboratory instruments
