Job Summary

The Student Employee is responsible for basic food related services at the direction of their supervisor.  Responsibilities include maintain high quality food, customer service, follow standards, sets up operation with products, cleans equipment, assists in the set up and clean up of special functions, checks in vendors, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean dining area and other duties as assigned.  In certain cases, student employee may be required to have knowledge and understanding of the proper use of Micros, point of sale system, along with proper cash handling and reporting procedures.  Serve and stock food, products, china and silverware to designated areas.  Will work in various stations throughout the operation.  Handles all food products according to Servsafe guidelines.

Sanitation

Keep work area clean.  Clean and sanitize equipment.  Maintain and clean the dining area by wiping tables and chairs, cleans up spills and reports breakage.  Handle all food and leftovers according to established ServSafe guidelines.
