The Senior Audio/Visual Aids Technician will be responsible for leading the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and operation of audio-visual equipment and its infrastructure for classroom and meeting spaces. This position will share in the responsibility for service parts inventory and service documentation. Responsible for training student employees and act as functional supervisor during field installations and setups for more junior level AV Techs and students.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
- High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
- Four (4) years of audio visual, IT, or related experience
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of audio-visual related equipment
Preferred:
- Associates degree in related field. Electronics technical school, two-years of EET, military electronics school certificates a plus
- Experience with computer presentation setup, software, data projection systems and basic data network very desirable
Skills Needed:
- Demonstrated knowledge of AV equipment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of AV equipment
- Must demonstrate excellent service attitude and be able to interact with faculty, staff, and students in an appropriate manner
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Ability to:
- work under constant time constraints
- read or learn to read schematics and interpret technical manuals
- work independently or in a team setting
