Provide support to the Manager of Accounts Receivable and serve as backup for billing and payment clerk functions. Utilize systems such as FIAR, Banner, and ECSI to assist with daily operations. Responsibilities include coordinating and ensuring the efficient execution of payment processing, billing activities, customer service, and other related tasks.

Education and Experience
 

Qualified candidates will need:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of business-related experience
  • Will accept an equivalent combination of experience and education

 

Skills needed:

  • Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, make informed decisions, and act proactively
  • Organization & Time Management: Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with SAP, Banner, ECSI, FIAR, and Cognos preferred
  • Accounting Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience with a strong math aptitude and ability to reconcile complex accounts
  • Systems & Data Management: Comfortable working in multiple data systems; understanding of policies, credit, and collection procedures helpful
  • Administrative Skills: Knowledge of clerical procedures, records management, and office protocols
  • Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills; strong active listening abilities
  • Customer Service: Strong service orientation with a focus on timely, courteous, and accurate support
  • Professionalism & Accountability: Demonstrates responsibility, ethical conduct, and a commitment to quality work and continuous improvement


What is helpful:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field
  • 2 years of supervisory/people leadership experience
