Job Summary
The Instruction Specialist works in the electrical and smart manufacturing labs associated with the School of Engineering Technology. Provides both instructional and operational support services for course delivery and assists students with projects. Uses Industry 4.0, AC and DC electrical power and signaling, digital systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, networking, manufacturing, and mechanical skills to provide direct support to faculty, staff, and students in the school’s formal instructional labs for Electrical Engineering Technology and undergraduate courses in ECET.

What We Are Looking For :
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) plus years of industry related prior experience with manufacturing systems, processes, hardware, and software, or an equivalent combination of work and education.
Skills needed:
- Excellent record keeping skills.
- Strong initiative with an ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiar with and competent in electrical device construction, programming, software, and data collection processes related to electronics, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and information Technology skills
