- Starts at $11.00/hour
- Summer hours: May – August (flexible start and end dates), 10-12 hours/week, Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm
- Work location: In-person role, Young Hall
- Housing is not provided. Eligible students may apply for a summer tuition scholarship of up to $2,100.
Position Information
Apply to join Purdue University's Office of Summer and Winter Sessions as a winter session student assistant this summer.
In this position, you will:

- Assist in coordinating and implementing office-sponsored programs, including staffing events.
- Draft various types of communication, including social media posts, web content, newsletter articles, and student messages.
- Create social media content, publications, and other promotional materials.
- Assist in managing web content and social media sites.
- Benchmark other institutions and find online resources.
- Serve as a resource person to Purdue students inquiring about summer and winter sessions.
Qualifications
- Maintain a cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA and good academic standing and student conduct standing
- Previous work experience with programs, projects, social media, or promotion is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexible and dependable with strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving, logic, and reasoning skills
- Customer service oriented
