Job Summary


As the Senior Program/Project Assistant for Student Affairs in the Office of Experiential Learning, you will provide high-level administrative support for the Experiential Learning Program in the College of Pharmacy, including but not limited to licensure coordination, programmatic and site-specific requirements, career-related event coordination, and support to the professional staff and faculty of the Office of Experimental Learning. This individual will work independently with oversight by the Director of IPPE and Experiential Curriculum. The successful candidate will independently answer or triage questions from students in all four years of the professional program; plan and attend the Experiential Learning Advisory Council meetings and take meeting minutes; support the Career Development Advisory Council and serve as the registration coordinator for all experiential courses. In addition, this position will coordinate all professional licensing procedures for enrolled and graduating students.

What We Are Looking For :

Required :

HS diploma/GED
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferable
Minimum three (3) years of clerical/office, licensure, career services or registration experience required.  
Experience maintaining and reporting with electronic management systems (i.e. databases, Purdue systems, etc.) 


Skills:

Proficiency in word processing and database/spreadsheet use necessary.  
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.  
Must have ability to organize and prioritize work load efficiently, make independent decisions, take initiative, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.  
Able to work with constant interruptions. Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs. 
Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes. 
Eager to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions.
