As a recognized subject matter expert operating with limited oversight, you will play a key role in the development, delivery, and administration of the Athletic Grant-In-Aid program, ensuring alignment with NCAA, Big Ten, federal, state, and institutional regulations. You will manage, establish, and evaluate financial aid packages for student-athletes, working closely with the Athletic Compliance Office and the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics to support student success.
In this leadership role, you will counsel students, parents, and university partners on financial aid eligibility across federal, state, institutional, and private programs, ensuring policies and procedures are current, well-documented, and support enrollment goals. You will provide regular updates to the Associate Director and maintain comprehensive records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Additionally, you will participate in both short- and long-term planning activities for financial aid, helping to assess and refine strategies for athletic programs. Financial aid will be awarded in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and institutional policies, contributing to Purdue’s commitment to integrity, innovation, and student achievement.

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- B.A./B.S. required
- A minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in an administrative setting.
Skills needed:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a wide-ranging group of students, parents, and colleagues both orally and via email.
- Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in technical programs such as Banner, Teamworks, and the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
