Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Science at Purdue University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Theoretical Quantum Information, Algorithms and Materials, or related areas. Successful candidates may have interests in developing quantum algorithms and quantum information theory, and applying such algorithms to chemically relevant processes and materials.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD in chemistry, physics, or a related field by the start of the appointment, with outstanding research credentials, an excellent publication record, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Successful candidates are expected to develop a vibrant research program supported by extramural funding and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
