Job Summary

The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine (PVM), Department of Comparative Pathobiology, and the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL) invite applications for a full-time (12-month) faculty position in Poultry Medicine.

• Tenure-track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
• Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Ph.D. in infectious diseases (or related field)
• Education requirements must be met by the time of appointment. 

Responsibilites

• Discovery: Develop an independent research program in poultry infectious diseases that will impact the Indiana poultry industry.
• Learning: Provide clinical, didactic, and laboratory teaching to DVM, veterinary nursing, and graduate students.
• Service: Participate in outreach activities with the poultry Industry, build relationships with the poultry industry, participate in committee work and professional organizations, deliver continuing education, and other appropriate activities.
