The Central Hiring Specialist is responsible for checking applications, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, orientation, onboarding and checking to see that all required training is completed.
Hiring and Onboarding
Participate in recruiting efforts including job fairs, hiring booths, and postings. Utilize Success Factors to hire for open positions. Interview applicants and make employment decisions. Extend employment offers and assist new hires in completing the paperwork process. Host new employee orientation and onboarding to ensure all pre-shift training is complete.
Training
Ensure the training of all student employees are trained in Universal Precaution, Haz Com, Blood borne Pathogens Certificate, PPE/LOTO training, PCI DSS Certificate, cash handling training, dining welcome, allergies, and food handlers. Helps with training and development for students in dining.
Operations
Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional conduct when handling sensitive personal information. Maintain appropriate security for student employee personnel information. Exercise accountability for the proper handling and security of all issued keys, as well as the property of the operation.
Need to be able to work 12- 15 hours per week.
