Job Summary

This position supports the development and implementation of executive education programming and related events in the Office of Business Partnership. This position cultivates relationships with key stakeholders (business partners, Purdue faculty and staff, vendors/agencies), works directly with corporate clients to execute custom programming, and upholds the integrity of the Daniels School of Business executive education program offerings through exceptional client support and professionalism. In alignment with the Executive Education strategic plan, this position optimizes business resources, proactively identifies and mitigates issues impacting program/client success and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver customer value through superior professional relationship management skills.

Hybrid work will be considered for this position based on the candidate’s location and interest as this role will be required to be in person for training at first; then on campus or on site for programming when it’s scheduled.

Required:

  • BA/BS 
  • Five (5) years of experience in customer relationship management, educational program development or project management role
  • Experience working in a corporate setting
  • Should be comfortable working with executives
  • Prior knowledge/use of Salesforce and other CRM platforms.
  • Superior customer relationship and account management skills
  • Adept at building collaborative and trusted relationships at varying levels of leadership, particularly with corporate executives 
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized    
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with tight timelines and limited supervision 
  • Maintains grace under pressure and professionalism to meet client needs/demands 
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Knowledge of management education topics
  • Prior knowledge/use of Salesforce and other CRM platforms

 

Preferred:

  • MS or MBA 
  • 2-3 year’s of experience working with executives in a customer relationship management or project management role
  • Experience planning and executing professional sales calls or meetings
