Job Summary

The North Central Nursing Clinics is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to add to our team. The North Central Nursing Clinics (NCNC), known in our communities as the Family Health Clinics, are a federally qualified health center (FQHC) providing access to high-quality primary healthcare services for the communities surrounding Burlington, Delphi, Monon, and Wolcott.  More information about NCNC can be found at:  https://www.familyhconline.com/about/

What You’ll Be Doing:

Under the supervision of NCNC’s Medical Director, core job functions include providing primary health care to the clinic’s pediatric population, from birth to twenty-one years old. Primary health care is defined as (1) the care the consumer receives at the point of contact with the health care system; and (2) the continued care of the individual as a health care consumer. The care is two-dimensional: (1) identification, management and/or referral of the health problems; and (2) the maintenance of the consumer's health by means of preventive and promotive health care action.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide acute and chronic care to pediatric patients of all ages, from birth to twenty-one years old.
• Primarily provide healthcare services at the Delphi clinic.

• While it is expected to be infrequent, this role may require travel to clinics in Burlington, Monon, Wolcott, depending on business/coverage need.

• Work until 7:30pm one evening a week at either the Delphi or Monon clinic

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• One year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Certified to practice as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by a national certifying body in the State of Indiana, including an Indiana State RN and APN license.

Additional Information:

• The primary location for this position is our Delphi clinic in Delphi, IN, with additional travel to other clinics as business need.
