Job Summary
The North Central Nursing Clinics is seeking a Triage Registered Nurse (RN) to our team. The North Central Nursing Clinics (NCNC), known in our communities as the Family Health Clinics, are a federally qualified health center (FQHC) providing access to high-quality primary healthcare services for the communities surrounding Burlington, Delphi, Monon, and Wolcott. What You’ll Be Doing:
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator, the Triage RN’s core job functions include: assessing patient health concerns, developing and implementing nursing care plans, maintaining medical records, administering medications, and collecting and handling specimens.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
- Accurately documenting symptoms, nursing assessments, advice provided, and patient responses.
- Coordinate or participate in improvement activities to ensure successful accreditation, licensing, and certification surveys.
- May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, manage provider cases, or oversee clinical staff and operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree from a State Board Approved School of Nursing.
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Certified to practice in the state of Indiana, including an Indiana State RN licensure and up-to-date CPR certification.
What is Helpful:
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
- Bachelor’s degree from a State Board Approved School of Nursing.
