Job Summary

The Desktop Analyst is a seasoned individual contributor who works to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact to support the team and assigned department. They support their assigned department and contribute to resolving escalated Tier 2 incidents and service requests for the entire College of Agriculture, including extension offices and Purdue Agriculture Farms. Problems are typically unclear and may require some analysis to understand and resolve, and perform tasks that are typically not routine and may be required to apply discretion within established operational boundaries. They will explain practices, procedures, and policies to others outside the IT department in order to reach agreement.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience Needed

  • Requires an Associate’s degree 
  • A minimum of One (1) years of prior relevant experience 
  • Will accept an equivalency of a combination of related education and experience

 

Preferred:

  • ITIL Foundations v4 Certification


Skills Needed:

  • Communication, organization, problem solving, troubleshooting, customer relations
