Receive training and assist in all phases of the fire and life safety systems, maintenance and repair. Inspect, recharge and repair both fixed and portable fire suppression systems per recognized standards. Support campus construction and renovation projects through inspection and maintenance of life safety systems.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience Needed:

• A High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
• One (1) year of experience with inspection, maintenance; and/or repair of fire and safety equipment, alarm systems and/or sprinkler systems is preferred
• A valid driver’s license

Skills Needed:

• Must have the ability to learn fire extinguisher service, electrical and plumbing skills
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• A mechanical background working with electrical and hand tools is strongly preferred
