Job Title:  Graduate Coordinator

Serve as first point of contact for all graduate program inquiries. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Department of Statistics Graduate Program including working with students, faculty, applicants, the application, admissions, registration processes, as well as oversee current students' progress. Serve as liaison to the Graduate and Admissions Committees, as well as the Graduate School.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience Needed:

  • High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
  • Minimum of Three (3) years in a clerical experience

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with university graduate program highly desired

 

Skills Needed:

  • Personal computer and related software, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database, data query, internet, etc. skills  
  • Good organizational skills  
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines for graduate documents and to keep graduate committees updated regarding student and policy issues 
  • Good communication (verbal and written) skills 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with faculty, staff, students, and applicants with diverse backgrounds 

 

Preferred:

  • Microsoft programs such as Word, excel
  • Knowledge of University policies, procedures and deadlines related to the university registration system 
  • Knowledge of Banner and Cognos
