Administrative Manager
Job Summary

Join the team that is the central hub connecting, strengthening, supporting, and unifying Administrative Operations! As the Administrative Manager you contribute to creating and sustaining a high-performing organization by providing executive support for the Senior Vice President of Administrative Operations and the executive leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for managing a team of executive assistants to provide consistent, efficient, and organized support. You will provide executive level operational support including drafting correspondence, managing complex calendars, and serving as a liaison between the Administrative Operations executive team, internal staff, various executive offices, and other external stakeholders.
This position will be on site at the Indianapolis campus and will involve traveling to the West Lafayette campus for meetings or events as needed.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Four (4) years of experience required
- Executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives
- Experience:
- leading and managing a team
- organizing events
- working within a cross-functional team environment
- balancing multiple and varied tasks
- Excellent project and time management skills are required
Preferred:
- Higher education experience
- Degree in business, communications, or related field
Skills Needed:
- Ability to:
- anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
- adapt to a fast-paced changing environment managing competing demands dealing with frequent delays or unexpected events
- Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, web conferencing tools, etc.
- Skilled in using discretion regarding when to involve the Executive, when to resolve issues independently, or when to engage others
