The Center’s strategic partnerships with IU School of Medicine, Eli Lilly and Company, Zimmer Biomet, and BioCrossroads advance the state’s leadership in musculoskeletal health innovation. Faculty at Purdue have a long history of collaboration with Indiana-based biomedical device, orthopedic, and pharmaceutical industries and the candidate will have the opportunity to work with established research programs with links to those industries.
In addition to the department and PCME, this position offers unique opportunities for collaboration with ongoing musculoskeletal research programs at Purdue including Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering, and Nutrition Science. Purdue faculty also have outstanding opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration through cross-campus research centers such as the Bindley Bioscience Center.
