Your Impactful Role
- Under leadership guidance, you will:
- Ensure Stability: Provide expert Level 2-3 support to technology consumers, ensuring long-term reliability and smooth operation of critical systems.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in the planning and administration of information systems tailored to specific groups, departments, and organizations.
- Technology Stewardship: Install, maintain, configure, and safeguard a robust and secure technology environment.

The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $53,200.
What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in computer related course work
- One (1) year computer related work experience
- Background in an IT desktop support center with demonstrated experience with problem/incident identification and resolution, research and development experience
Preferred:
- Experience developing day-to-day computer support processes. Scripting language experience
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager or other global desktop administration and management software experience
- Software packaging experience. Microsoft AD experience
- Experience maintaining file services
Skills Needed:
- Knowledge of computing and mobile devices, hardware troubleshooting and repair, PC configuration and security, security patching, image creation, software packaging and scripting, and directory and permissions settings/administration
- Knowledge and experience using desktop support troubleshooting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and customer service skills
- Ability to learn and use programming and scripting languages used in the automation of systems administration
