Job Summary
The Department of Health & Kinesiology at Purdue University seeks applicants for an academic-year (9-month) continuing lecturer position within Purdue’s CAATE-accredited Master of Science in Athletic Training program to begin in August 2026. This position will contribute to the instructional and clinical education mission of the department by teaching in the professional graduate and undergraduate athletic training curricula. Applicants must hold a minimum of a master’s degree in athletic training, kinesiology, exercise science, exercise physiology or a related field. National certification by the Board of Certification is required and applicants must be eligible for athletic training licensure in Indiana. Applicants must show evidence of success in teaching and student mentorship. The successful applicant will teach basic and applied athletic training courses in our professional graduate program as well as our undergraduate sports medicine concentration. Additionally, they will support coordination and supervision of student internships, and contribute to departmental engagement/service activities as appropriate.
