Job Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator is a seasoned learning support/student affairs professional within the Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center (ASC), a unit of Student Success Programs, and is responsible for the implementation of programs and services designed to optimize students’ academic engagement and experiences, learning and study strategies, course outcomes, retention, and overall success. This specific position works on-site in Indianapolis, as part of both the ASC and Teaching and Learning Programs in Indianapolis teams.
The Senior Program Coordinator works as an integral part of the ASC team and is responsible for providing learning strategy support, mentorship, and opportunities for learning, engagement, and success to students both directly (students) and indirectly (supporting student leaders who support students directly). The Senior Program Coordinator is charged with responsibilities in programmatic areas for Indianapolis, including the Peer-Led Tutoring program and Peer Success Coaching program (including student recruitment, training and observation, and supervision of the peer tutors and coaches, program development, and coordination with other campus stakeholders). The Senior Program Coordinator actively collaborates with the ASC Associate Director who serves as the site lead for Indianapolis as well as program coordinators at the West Lafayette ASC location.
Additionally, this position will assist in general responsibilities of the ASC, including facilitating learning in one-on-one (consultations and supervision meetings), small group (trainings and committee meetings), large group (workshops and trainings), and passive modes and directing collateral projects for ASC graduate assistants. In the absence of the Associate Director, the Senior Program Coordinator will serve as site lead in Indianapolis.

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Four (4) years of experience in areas of advising, teaching, academic coaching and/or other forms of academic assistance, student support, and/or program development (consideration will be given to two years of undergraduate or graduate work in these same areas)
Skills:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn online systems and software (EAB Navigate/BoilerConnect; Qualtrics; Microsoft Office; Cascade, etc.) and efficiently manage systems at a proficient level
- Ability to facilitate student learning in individual, small group, classroom, and virtual settings
- Ability to represent the values of the ASC, Student Success Programs, and university to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for the experiences, values, and perspectives of others within a campus community, including the ability to work with students, faculty, and staff from wide-ranging backgrounds and identities
- Ability to think quickly and creatively in problem-solving and planning
- Ability to work some nights and weekends that are occasionally required
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in higher education; experience with peer learning programs
- Master’s Degree in higher education administration, college student affairs, counseling, education or other relevant discipline

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $52,525.00 to $56,525.00. The final salary offer will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, available budget, and relevant experience.
