Employer seeks a Lecturer for its West Lafayette campus, in Tippecanoe County, within the French language program.
Candidates should at minimum hold a Master's degree (PhD Preferred) either in the foreign language of specialty, or in another relevant field with concentration or specialization in the foreign language of specialty; relevant other fields include, but are not limited to, second language learning, linguistics, literature, film studies, or similar field. Foreign equivalents are accepted in lieu of US degrees. Employer requires native or near-native language fluency in the foreign language of specialty.
A background check will be required for employment in this position.
For Consideration: In addition, service to the School of Languages and Cultures and the French program will be expected, such as participation in extracurricular events, as arranged with the faculty in French and the Head of the School of Languages and Cultures.
