Job Summary


Assists provider and nursing staff with implementation of patient care, following nursing and Clinic policies and procedures. Rooms patients, monitors and charts vital signs and historical data.  Handles specimens. Completes requisitions, forms and reports. Participates in clinical huddles, staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.  Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

 


***This posting represents two positions. One position is primarily for Burlington, IN, location, and the other is primarily for White County (Monon and Wolcott, IN) locations***

What We’re Looking For:                                

  • Graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program
  • 1 year of prior medical assistant experience.  
  • Must have a verified certification to practice in the state of Indiana and a completed background check.  
  • CPR certification

                 
 
Skills needed:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Thorough knowledge of scientific principles of aseptic technique and general clinical practice. Basic knowledge of medical language.  
  • Must have computer and data entry skills.
