Job Summary
This role will assist the provider and nursing staff with implementation of patient care, following nursing and Clinic policies and procedures. They will room patients, monitor and charts vital signs and historical data, as well as handle specimens. This role also completes requisitions, forms and reports and will participate in clinical huddles, staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
This posting represents two positions. One position is primarily for Burlington, IN, location, and the other is primarily for White County (Monon and Wolcott, IN) locations

What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an approved Medical Assistant program
- One year of prior medical assistant experience.
- Must have a verified certification to practice in the state of Indiana and a completed background check.
- CPR certification
Skills needed:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of scientific principles of aseptic technique and general clinical practice. Basic knowledge of medical language.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
