Job Description:

Job Summary

The Online Reporting and Compliance Analyst, with a dual focus on reporting student experience data and ensuring regulatory compliance, plays a pivotal role in upholding Purdue University Online's (PUO) commitment to delivering high-quality online educational experiences. The Online Reporting and Compliance Analyst also plays an important role in supporting major business processes within Purdue University Online (PUO), including service level agreements, student acquisition planning, and rate requests.

Collaborating closely with the Institutional Data Analysis and Assessment (IDA+A) team, the analyst leads the project management of developing, testing, and deploying reporting resources aligned with PUO's strategic objectives and the coordination and implementation of university systems, processes, procedures, and policies. This encompasses the creation of operational and executive reporting mechanisms using reporting and software tools tailored to communicate key insights to PUO staff and leadership. Reporting requirements span a wide range of key performance indicators (KPIs) across both credit and non-credit programming, including areas such as recruiting/ admissions, enrollment, retention, and progress/completion outcomes.

The analyst collaborates closely with team leads within the Student Experience department to develop customized reporting on team performance and effectiveness. By identifying specific reporting needs through collaborative discussions, the analyst ensures that reporting mechanisms align closely with departmental goals and objectives. This involves creating dashboards and reports that not only track individual student metrics but also provide insights into team productivity, initiative implementation efficiency, and adherence to established timelines and goals.

Of equal importance, this role will serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for all compliance activities pertaining to online education, encompassing continuous proactive monitoring and interpretation of best practices, legislative updates, and regulatory changes from state, federal, and other relevant agencies and organizations. Responsibilities include reviewing both new and existing non-credit (ex: PEST) and credit programs to ensure compliance with Purdue policies, guidelines set forth by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, federal Department of Education regulations, and standards established by accrediting bodies such as the Higher Learning Commission. Moreover, this position entails maintaining active membership in and fulfilling all reporting obligations to key organizations such as NC-SARA, State Authorization Network (SAN), and WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET). Finally, you’ll monitor updates to university policies and procedures and provide support for PUO's coordination efforts with various university offices, including the Veteran and Military Success Center, Disability Resource Center, and Counseling and Psychological Services.

This is a fully remote position.
