Responsibilities Include:
- Timely and accurate completion of accounting transactions and financial reports and will coordinate the monthly and year-end processes.
- Work with PARI and Purdue Finance teams to identify and respond to accounting needs.
- Participate in accounting projects to develop and implement new reports or processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Five years of Accounting or Financial Analyst experience.
- Experience with SAP, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Skills Needed:
- Must be proficient in Excel, and knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
- Knowledge of GAAP is critical, and GASB pronouncements is preferred.
- Ability to identify and determine proper accounting treatment of intercompany transactions.
- Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility, working independently, and contributing to a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and prepare complex data analysis and present data according to requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and implement new accounting standards, university policies, and procedures.
What is Helpful:
- Experience in non-profit or higher education administration.
- CPA.
