Job Summary
The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) and the Laboratory of Renewable Resource Engineering (LORRE) at Purdue University are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on funded research projects focused on inventing approaches to manufacturing medicines and materials by applying innovative tools at the cutting-edge of enzymology. You will develop and test synthesis routes that primarily use enzymes catalysis to make complex small molecule targets (e.g., pharmaceutical agents or monomers for bioplastics). The postdoctoral researcher will be supervised by Dr. Karthik Sankaranarayanan. Interested candidates should submit an application containing a cover letter detailing their qualifications and interest in the position and CV. The review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
