This is a full time On Campus position in Wang Hall  

 

  • In addition to creating motion graphics/animations, editing, and producing video content for online courses, you will help with live event course productions. Producing and facilitating live online lectures in our three-studio classroom and two remote classrooms.  At various times you could be operating video switchers, audio mixers, PTZ cameras, and overseeing student workers.  
  • Additionally, you will be supporting and troubleshooting problems as they arise during these classes/live events.
     

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Two plus years of advanced video editing experience, reflecting proficiency in producing content of varied complexities
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Comprehensive experience in filming and refining green screen footage to achieve professional-grade results
  • Mastery of creative software, including the entire Creative Cloud suite or its advanced equivalents 

 

Skills Needed: 
What is helpful (Preferred):

  • Proficient experience in 2D/3D animation or motion graphics, showcasing the ability to bring dynamic elements to video production
  • Demonstrated experience in scriptwriting and editing for video content, ensuring narratives align with production goals and resonate with targeted audiences
  • Comprehensive expertise in advanced post-production video editing for instructional, promotional, and diverse multimedia projects
  • Demonstrated capability to independently steer large, moderately complex projects from conception to completion, both as an individual contributor and within team settings
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced features of video content management systems, adeptness with project management tools, and mastery of office productivity software for streamlined workflows
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication aptitude, facilitating cohesive collaboration and influencing decisions across a broad spectrum of project stakeholders
  • Proven track record in efficiently managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Proactive approach to embracing and integrating cutting-edge technologies, pioneering innovative techniques, and optimizing workflows in alignment with evolving team objectives and industry trends
