Job Summary

The Coordinator of Program Research and Design will support the development and implementation of division wide programs and resources for student support. Primary responsibility will be to gather data and resources to inform program development, manage the development of programs, and assess program efficacy and student engagement.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate in the creation of a holistic educational resources for division wide programmatic efforts available to students.
  • A collaboration with the Office of Instructional Design will be maintained for the development of online courses and materials.
  • In addition, all modules and resources maintained for division wide programs must be kept current.
  • Identifying gaps in current programs and resources at Purdue, understanding the landscape of programs being offered by companies in this sphere, and independently gathering research supporting the development of programs and resources.
  • Engage in program evaluation in order to refine future content.
  • Develop and assess formative and summative program evaluation.
  • Collate program assessment for divisional reporting. 
  • Meet regularly with various student organizations to facilitate engagement with programs.
  • Present programs to student organizations.
  • Responsibility for continued engagement with student groups promoting the efficacy and usefulness of the modules and resources for division wide programs.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Six (6) years of experience in program development, preferably for college students.
  • Experience creating materials for digital distribution.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Brightspace (or other educational platforms). 

 

Skills needed:

  • Strong Communication
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Ability to positively interact with college students
  • Experience with program development for college students
