Your key responsibilities will be to oversee the production processing system and provide 24/7 technical support, troubleshoot problems, reload and modify files, develop scripts, and perform testing, as well as restore files and data, create job schedules, and analyze job failures. You will collaborate on planning and implementing production schedules for assigned systems and communicate with users regarding data and job requirements. This position will enforce established procedures for data protection, encryption, security, create, update, and maintain internal production processing documentation, develop and maintain operational processes and procedures, and act as an internal quality consultant to advise business and technical partners

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Two (2) years of experience in basic programming and Unix command line knowledge.
- Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience
Skills Needed:
- Troubleshooting IT problems, reloading and modifying files, developing scripts, restoring files and data, creating job schedules and analyzing job failures
- Self-starting, independent thinker and worker
- Conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of basic codes for UNIX or similar knowledge
- Experience with multiple systems, environments, and applications (UNIX, Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mainframe)
- Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision
- Problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to:
- communicate effectively with customers
- plan and coordinate production schedules
- multi-task in a variety of IT activities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
