The SAP Application Developer will be a fully competent and productive professional contributor who can design, develop, test, implement and support new and existing software applications within the SAP environment. You will work closely with business partners and other IT teams to design and build solutions to meet customer needs utilizing standard architectures, frameworks, and procedures. This position will develop and maintain documentation of developed applications.
This is a remote position with a target salary of $60,100 - $70,975.00 annually commensurate with education and experience.
What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or business-related fields
- Two (2) years of experience in information technology including some experience in SAP application development
- Experience with SAP ABAP required
- In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
- Experience with one or more of the following: SAP ABAP Web Dynpro, SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Workflow, or SAP Fiori.
Skills Needed:
- Solid understanding of SAP development technologies
- Ability to:
- execute all phases of the software development life cycle
- troubleshoot difficult but typically not complex technical issues
- interact with a variety of customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- understand and support multiple applications
- assess requirements and estimate effort required to develop solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on daily tasks and projects
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and apply new skills and technologies
Preferred:
- Knowledge of project management principles
