Job Summary

This seasoned professional supports the Office of Admissions in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to recruit and admit international undergraduate students, with a primary focus on Purdue University in Indianapolis. The position ensures that prospective and admitted international students receive responsive, high-quality admissions support throughout the enrollment process.

Key responsibilities include reviewing applications, advising prospective students virtually and in person, addressing the unique needs of international applicants, and promoting Purdue University through outreach, recruitment, and representation activities.

What We Are Looking For :


Education and Experience

Qualified candidates will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree w/ 4-5 years of related experience required.


Skills needed:

  • Communication (especially interpersonal skills such as empathy and teamwork), public speaking, organization, computer and related software proficiency, program development, intercultural competency, problem-solving.

 

Nice to have:

  • Preferred experience in admissions, international education, or higher education fields.
  • Master’s degree w/ 2-3 years of related experience preferred.

This position is based at Purdue University’s main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.
