Job Summary
Join our team as a Small Animal Receptionist, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing our front desk and phone operations. Your primary hours will be 8am-5pm, with a rotating early shift from 7am-4pm. At the front desk, you'll be the face of our clinic, assisting clients, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and maintaining a welcoming lobby. On the phones, you'll handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and support our clinical team with messages and referrals. Confidentiality, emergency assessment, and problem-solving for client concerns are key aspects of this role. Opportunities for cross-training in Large Animal Reception are available. Commitment to monthly staff meetings and flexibility for backup shifts, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

The salary for this position will start around $16.00-$19.00/hr, plus benefits based on experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 3 Years clerical experience in a medical clinic/veterinary office or 1 year in medical clinic/veterinary office and 2 years customer Service experience
- Personable with people, General Computer Skills, above average Customer Service skills
- Proficient Data Entry skills, Cash Handling experience, General cleaning, Multi-tasking, Effective Communication Skills
