Job Summary
MUST BE WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE - Scan all new, completed tasks and general scanning and index using correct codes. Prep change of major’s for counselor approval and document printing. Ability to stop mid process and jump into a more important project then jump back into what you were working on after project is done. Ability to multi-task and organize your workload so that all is completed in a timely manner. Attention to detail is very important. Open communication about workload or process with supervisor. Will be assigned to the front desk and will require customer service experience. Ability to greet guests, schedule appointments and direct individuals to the correct office. Assist with new student check-in during the spring and fall semester. Communicate with a diverse population. Ability to focus on one task for a long period of time. Accuracy is key for this position. Lift up to 20-25 pounds occasionally. Attention to detail is a must. Confidentiality is necessary as this position sees financial documents, medical documents and hear conversations between counselor and student. Must be able to work quietly and efficiently with little to no supervision. Assist the Operations Supervisor position in tasks and projects as assigned. Expected to work at least 10 hours a week but can be up to 20 hours.
