The IT Security Operator supports full-time security analysts in their daily functions. This includes responding to security incidents, communicating with users and IT departments, monitoring/managing toolsets, and implementing new processes.

Pay Rate: $12/Hour


Job Duties

  1. Assist IT Security Analysts with routine operational responsibilities such as incident response, user communication, documentation, and proactive cyber defense.
  2. Develop, improve, and maintain existing tools, processes, and procedures.
  3. Support Customers by accurately and concisely communicating with users and other IT units.

 

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of IT concepts and network fundamentals
  • Basic understanding of cyber threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities
  • Familiarity with security tools (firewalls, anti-virus, etc.)
  • IT certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSOC, GCIH, GCFA, CEH, or other security-related credentials are highly desirable
