About Our Opportunity:

In this position, you will provide instructional and operational services for course delivery and direct students with projects. Develop and deliver classroom, project, and laboratory-based instruction. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for instruction delivery. You will also prepare and maintain experiments, order supplies and equipment, train lab personnel, and deliver course-learning materials. Develop and deliver training for course teaching assistants.
 

What We’re Looking For:
Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Veterinary Nursing.
• Two years of experience teaching college-level life sciences or related experience.
• The ability to perform diagnostic parasitology and microbiology assays.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Organization skills.
• Working knowledge of laboratory practices and biohazards.
• Knowledge of animal bacteria, fungi, and parasites.
• Computer skills, including those required for preparation and electronic delivery of teaching materials.

 
Preferred:

• Teaching experience in college-level microbiology or parasitology.
