Job Summary

Lecturer Position in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) at Purdue University invites applications from candidates holding a doctoral degree or equivalent in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or a closely related field for the position of Lecturer. This is a full time, 9 month, promotable appointment with an anticipated start date of July 2026.

The Department of SLHS (http://www.purdue.edu/hhs/slhs/) is a national leader in clinical education and research and offers undergraduate degrees, accredited graduate programs (MS-SLP and AuD), and a PhD program. The department includes 18 tenure track faculty and 13 clinical faculty who support each other in meeting the department’s academic mission at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

This Lecturer position will provide teaching support at the undergraduate and graduate levels, particularly in the areas of hearing, acoustics, and or speech and voice. Prior teaching experience in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or relevant applied professional experience is required.
